Independent Automobile Dealers Association), the 18,000 member legislative
voice of the used car industry since 1949. REGULATORY COMPLIANCE RESEARCH & ALERTS The state and national associations monitor Motor Vehicle
legislation and lobby for interests that benefit the membership and the
industry. Information regarding these efforts are provided both online and in
hardcopy publications. PUBLICATIONS Information regarding industry impact and pertinent subject
matter is reported through various association publications such as Used Car
Dealer Magazine, Used Car News, Used Car Market Report, Dealer Connection and
the Illinois state newsletter, the Dealers Edge. Each of the publications are
provided free of charge to active members. PROFESSIONAL EVENTS State & National Conventions are held annually to
provide the membership with the opportunity to meet with fellow professionals,
to learn techniques for improvement of business practices, and to become aware
of critical compliance issues through workshops and seminars. Information about
new technology, products and services are presented during these events through
concurrent trade shows, sponsored by the association's commercial partners and
preferred providers. SPECIAL PROMOTIONS The state association arranges special promotions on behalf
of its membership such as the Auction Coupon Book which contains almost $2,100
in discount coupons. Also, special social/professional events are planned for
golf outings and dinner cruises. MEMBER SERVICES DIRECTORY The state association has compiled lists of quality

website. These vendors help support the growth of the state association through

loss or improving efficiency. AWARDS Four $2,000 scholarships are awarded to high school seniors
that are children or grandchildren of a NIADA member in good standing. Achievement
awards are presented to members who demonstrate excellence in such areas as
service, recruitment and community involvement. HEALTH PLAN All members are entitled to participate in the association's
comprehensive group health plan designed specifically for dealer protection.
